  • Thanks Doctor. Are these exercises meant to be done for both legs? I also have sciatica like symptoms in the upper body (tingling/fleeting narrow bands of nerve pain in arms, shoulder). Would the sciatica exercises in anyway exacerbate the illness in the upper body?

  • I have not been able to perform the piriformis stretch because it hurts very bad when i try to do it. How should i proceed? Thanks for your help!

  • @joshfluo If the piriformis is really irritated, piriformis injection therapy is very helpful

  • @quwatli Unless there is actual nerve compression, sciatica nerve pain usually is just pain. If you begin to experience weakness, then you my have some trouble. Check the website out for more information

  • @axxiiss20 Usually a good start. If the irritation is from the piriformis muscle, this usually helps.

  • @Hertsman50 2-4 times a day is usually what I recommend. More won't be a problem. Hold each stretch for at least a minute

  • @gottabeme0002 Go to the website listed above and request a different exercise
