Statics and Strength of Materials
Toothpick Truss Bridge Contest.
The contruction materials were: Diamond Toothpicks and Elmer's wood glue. The bridge weighted 112.9 grams, span 19 15/16, and holded a maximum pick load of 101.8 lb.
Estatica y Resistencia de Materiales
Concurso construccion de puente de cercha de palillos de dientes.
Los materiales de contruccion fueron palillos de dientes regulares y pega para madera. El puente peso 112.9gramos y resistion una carga maxima de 46.17 kilogramos.

    But I have another question, which is not mentioned in the description.

    Is there a particular reason why you didn't add the vertical beams to the upper part of the estructure? Does it affect the resistance is you add them.
