  • I worked in Southern Orange County and lived in Riverside. Jim Healy made my ride home at night actually enjoyable. I could not wait for him to come on the air and If i got home before the show was over, I'd wait and listen. He was by far the best. I am so glad I found him on YouTube! Thank you to whoever posted these clips.

  • Hearing Jim is like hearing a ghost from the past :)

  • 20 years ago today, Jim got his star on Hollywood Blvd, and I was there as was Milton Berle who made a funny Richard Simmons joke. Later that day Jim's day was eclipsed by the news that Magic Johnson was HIV+

  • WOW I put his name on here figuring I'd find nothing and can't THANK YOU enough for putting up these clips as not a day goes by at 5:30 that I don't think of him and how much I enjoyed his show.

  • The GREAT Jim Healy passed away seventeen years ago today (July 22, 1994). I listened to his show literally every day from 1977 to when he retired in April 1994. I still miss him.

  • I was there the day Jim got that star on Hollywood Blvd. Milton Berle was hilarious!

  • Discovered Healy's show in 84. The last great old-time show. He was Tabloid Sports radio. Brilliant.
