Idaho, sparsely populated, is host to a number of intriguing paranormal phenomena. Here are ten of the weirdest...
1. Ammon Park, Pocatello: Haunted by the apparition of a young girl on the swings.
2. Bear River Memorial, Preston: In the winter, large numbers of footprints emerge in the snow, along with the crying of women and babies.
3. Canyon Hill Cemetery, Caldwell: Haunted by a disembodied, legless jogger, and the apparition of a large male body laying as though in a casket, without a casket present.
4. Cottonwood Cemetery, Boise: Ghostly children and the apparition of a woman are present. The female apparition seems to also appear in the nearby school.
5. Farragut State Park, Athol: The historic brig building at the park exhibits poltergeist activity and translocation of large objects, as well as at least one male apparition.
6. Ice Caves, Shoshone: Visitors to the caves report strange voices and the noise of footsteps from time to time.
7. Idaho State University, Pocatello: Frazier Hall is host to various apparitions, sometimes in the audience and sometimes playing ghostly pianos.
8. Lewiston Civic Theater, Lewiston: This former church has at least two identified apparitions, and has been host to at least one unexplained disappearance. Other phenomena are also reported.
9. Plaza Bridge, Emmett: Campers in the area have reported the sounds of babies crying, women, and also tapping and scratching on tents and cars.
10. Ricks College, Rexburg: The phantom of a young female is reported to walk from the Hart to Romney building and back on a regular basis.
