Tina's first NASCAR fly-by was at the Daytona 500 practice in '09 and was quite a surprise to her. (At the entrance to turn 1 on Friday, February 13th, 2009)

Yes its cool but once u go there and feel the vibration in your skin and smell the feul theres no subsitute

my first experience at indy 500 and daytona 500, was amazing, im also a f1 fan,but road tracks are boring compared to the high speed ovals.

I love to spot out folks at races where you can tell its their first time. I can remember a time in the early 90's at CMS when some youth foundation brought in about 20 or so inner city kids that sat near us. I still get a laugh when I remember their reaction when all 43 cars came by in full throat on lap 1! So loud you could feel it in your ribs, and the kids scattered like a bomb went off!

@CHUUMPASS Agreed. I'm living in Hungary and I used to watch every f1 race at he Schumacher era. Later I found myself bored of it. Every year there are 2-3 teams who dominate the races. In Nascar you can't tell who is going to win the race even in the last lap. This leads to a constant fun and excitement factor. I hope I can fly to the US soon and taste the mindblowing atmosphere of nascar live :-) It is a shame that none of the TV stations are broadcasting it...Only torrent is my savior..
