The M50 has been a dream to play, the hammer-action is amazing, and the amount of features on this beast is pretty intimidating. It's like a spaceship.

Was considering the M3 but since all I'm using it for is making beats, I don't see anything that makes it worth the additional nearly extra grand I'd have to spend. M50 it is. **grabs car keys**

Sampling is where the keyboard 'records' external sounds, such as another instrument, a noise or singing, then replicates it so that you can play it. Chances are if you don't know what sampling is then you're not going to need it. The M50 is an excellent keyboard and will do more than enough for the standard user.

Can someone please explain , I am considering buying a new keyboard/workstation and was looking at this one as apposed to the korgx50 . I read somewhere that you can't sample w this one can someone please explain what that means. I am new to all this techno stuff . Thank you any advice would be appreciated.
