Team Exile, a group of seven students, created this environment as part of the Sony Online Entertainment Mentorship Program. The idea was to make and environment that would fit within the Free Realms world, with the added twist of adding Sci-Fi elements as well.
My roles in Team Exile:
Audio Director:
-In charge of all sound effects including working side by side with a composer to create unique music scores used in all 3 nodes in external 3rd party audio programs not native to game engine
-In charge of Sound FX Design, creating and implementation for use in game from external software to import, visual coding, creation in engine and game level audio source placement.
3D Artist:
-Modeled environment assets from concept and photo reference for use in game such as rocks, billboard -- type sings, fountains, support structures etc.
Level Design:
-Assisted heavily in placement of assets, audio sound nodes look and feel for all 3 levels.
Particles:
-Created Particle Effects for use in game within the Unreal Engine for the project.
