  • @thebritish25 I guess we'd go mad thinking about such things.

  • The Aichi Val and Stuka were 2 of the most beautiful planes during the war.

  • @AJSokrates Projections of the Invasion of Japan (Operation Downfall) predicted about 11 million casualties, including 10 million civilians. These projections were largely based on the casualty tally after the Battle of Okinawa, but also other invasions and due to the fact that the Japanese were not willing to surrender. They were training civilians to fight the Americans, using household objects such as sharpened broomsticks. It's terrible 350,000 civilans died, but its better than 10 million

  • @Vaeleagle I'm not justifying bombing civilians, I am just being realistic. Hiroshima and Nagasaki had military targets and it is quite impossible to get them without civilians getting in the way. Practically every bombing in WWII had civilians getting hit. Should everybody have been subject to war crimes? And exactly WHO should have been the one's sitting in judgement? It is a very idealogical point of view. If your opponent is waging total war you have to as well. Sherman was right.

  • @dancinkindofguy

No, Warcrimes never are subjective. Sorry dancin, but a human live is more worth than a tactical advantage.

Soldiers are trained for a war, civilians are not.

Sure, the japanese where murderer in the second ww, like we germans, but cilvilians are innocent. You mustnt become a beast to kill the beast, or you are doomed.

  • @Vaeleagle so, it would have been better to incur all the casulties I listed before..... War crimes are subjective...

only the losers are tried for crimes, and even then not always.

  • @dancinkindofguy

Gaaaah... the bombs where the same Warcrime like the bombing of Dresden.

Maybe tactical needed for the american moral and troops, but it was a warcrime!!!!! Bombing civilians are allways a warcrime.

  • great attack!!

  • echo es orrible

  • I watched this movie on NetFlix and it is one of my top favorite war movies of all time, Gettysburg is another one as well as Patton. After the end of the 20th century, they weren't as great as they used to be for the most part.

  • Tora Tora Tora is a old Geisha game of Paper/Scissors/Rock but with Samurai/Old Women/Tiger(Tora)

    Samurai beats the Tiger

    Tiger beats the Old Woman

but the Old Woman beats the Samurai

  • @lionel21000 I am replying to you instead of the idiot you are arguing with. Without the bombs we would have had to invade Japan and would have had casulties at 500,000 plus. Japanese casulties would have been in the millions
