Watch a clip from Bonnie Mitchell & Elainie Lillios's lecture, "Exploring Shifting Ground: Creative intersections between experimental animation and audio" (2009) delivered at SIGGRAPH 2009's Visual Music Day.

Mitchell and Lillios discuss the making of their work "2BTextures" (2008) as well as the parallel components of visuals and sound.

Bonnie Mitchell & Elainie Lillios's discussion was one of many "Visual Music Talks" delivered by contemporary scholars, artists and composers including Pamela Taylor Turner, Brian Evans, Stephanie Maxwell, and Bret Battey.

  • @beethovenqueen Hello! We purposely upload only excerpts for two reasons. One is out of respect for the artists - most of whom do not want entire clips posted - and secondly because unfortunately we don't have the infrastructure to support the digital storage of full films. As you may know we're deep into our fundraising and membership drive right now, to solicit donations so that we can continue offering these services for free. I hope you consider joining so we can improve our services!

  • Why does Iota upload excerpts and not the whole thing? (even in parts would be appreciated!)

Pls upload entire presentations & films...& thanks for what IS uploaded!
