One School- Black History Month?

Last years Black History Month was put together by Principal Renee Pollack, a person who is ignorant to Black History. Let's take a look back at how it turned out.

They should teach WORLD history.

Beginning at the beginning: mankind's appearance in Africa 200,000 years ago. His migration into Asia 70,000 years ago. The birth of civilization in the middle East 12,000 years ago and its spread into Africa, the far East and eventually Europe.

All the different civilizations, empires, rises and falls, culminating in this modern world.

Maybe then we'd all stop being biased toward our own people. Maybe then we could let go of all the nationalism.

Your documentary was AMAZING! I love the fact that you have made this huge documentary encompassing the whole ordeal of last year because a lot of people don't know the full story. Even students who were active in the walkout last year don't know any of the issues we were facing and trying to rectify.

@FloorOfTheForest Actually, I learned world history in school. My view of the world and BLACK history then and now had nothing to do with each other. 1 month and people are acting insane. Every face in America is white. It's almost as a Chinese is the face of China. History should not be forgotten. We celebrate presidents day. There are no black presidents, or even minorities. Given what America has done, I think a month of history recognition is fine. It's not like other history is exempt

@RagingBearVideos Actually. Black History month is recognizing black history. Every other month by default is "WHITE HISTORY" month. In school, I learned about white history. Because it's Aids awareness month, it doesn't mean you zealously learn about Aids everyday. I mean, seriously. Or cancer awareness day. You just recognize. I mean, you are looking to deep into the reason for the month. Every other thing looks white around me, presidents, Santa, Jesus. You know...

@TheBsheep Exactly. I can't believe how dads/moms keep teaching their kids ignorance. My mom taught me to love everyone. It seems going through youtube, whites are envious of blacks. I see so many racial statements about blacks from whites. Not from any other race. I don't get it.

completely wrong.the world is only 8,000 years old. civilization started from africa and then spread to the whole world. and the gullible africans were, tricked and lost out, for the last 500years.
