Les cougars de st-léonard (Québec) contre les fans d'Hamilton (Ontario)

Une vingtaine de joueurs de football des Cougars de St-Léonard se sont battus dans les gradins du Stade Ivor Wynne de Hamilton, samedi soir dernier.

Les incidents se sont produits lors des dernières secondes du match de demi-finale de la conférence ontarienne remporté 20-9 par les Hurricanes de Hamilton.

Aucune plainte ni accusation n'a été déposée selon la police locale.

Un homme de Hamilton a été conduit à l'hôpital souffrant d'une commotion cérébrale. Il s'agit de celui que l'on voit être frappé par une caisse en plastique.

Rejoint par TVA mercredi matin, le président des Cougars de Saint-Léonard, Antonio Ladeluca, a dit ne pas approuver ces gestes, mais que "ses joueurs avaient été harcelés tout le long du match et que des spectateurs leur ont lancé des bouteilles d'eau et de bière".

Selon Monsieur Ladeluca, l'enquête policière serait close et aucune accusation ne sera déposée

Continuous and repeated insults. When visiting other teams, the St-Leonard Cougars players are CONTINUOUSLY insulted and harrassed with "fu***ng frenchmen", "frogs", "dirty niggers" insults by local spectators just sitting behond them.

I was at the game, with the people getting beaten, except I'm 16 and I moved away from the brawl.

The cougars threw a water bottle WHICH HIT ME, and the fans threw it back.

The cougars started throwing helmets and shit, which we threw back.

All we did was chirp them, verbal abuse.

They took it, and made it violent.

"they got what they deserved" are you fucking serious?

And for the record they were WAY too far up to spit on the players, we were like 6 rows.
