  • I have following your tutorials, kudos for someone who is real young like you. One question, I have been trying sts-135 in 0rb 6P1 from Davids package, and i get all: aligned ApA and PeA, perfect aligned planes, but I try again and again and i cannot Sync the orbit, and what I am suffering is with altitudes, even trying to sync in tg apoapsis or periapsis, i can come closer, but I'm too far, and moving 1 thing changes all! What i would do wrong?. Thanks in advance and sry for the bad english.

  • @Bthendor Try using the attitude mfd program that I recommended either in this part or next to cancel your relative velocity with the ISS. Then from there you may be able to work on a good rendezvous, though it may waste some extra fuel. From there you can try being more and more accurate.

  • wait do you use the linear thrusters to move the crosshair?

  • @railfanatic844 Yep I do.

  • Well obviously I have been doing this wrong the whole time. I always grappled Unity and without docking with it just stuck it on Zarya. Anyway, great job and I can't wait for the landing part!

  • @superstephen4 Landing and re-entry will be done when Orbiter updates and fixes its terrible atmospheric model. Space shuttle re-entry, done accurately, is impossible in Orbiter.

  • @thesnorklemonkey Thank you. I read it and follow your advise, but as well, I kept the Apoapsis value of the orbit to sync it with ISS (not paying attention to the PeA, used sync orbit with Sh apoapsis, tried some orbits ahead, and like a dream!, at less than 18k of the ISS! (the only problem was calculate the correct distance to meet the ISS without leaving it behind...) But docked and happy now :) If you can, try the STS.135 from David in Orbiter hangar, lots of addons but really works. Thx!

  • Uhh. Could you make Soyuz to ISS tutorial? Like Soyuz TMA 20?

  • Once you have rendezvoused, you say you grapple the zarya with RMS arm. How exactly do you do this? Do you know the input degrees for the RMS arm? And about how long for the next video? I hope its almost done I was kind of intimidated by shuttle fleet before this. Thanks!

  • thanks
