This song is about the stupid people who don't question anything, and think the "media" is remotely truthful in the content it delivers to its dead-brained viewers/listeners.
The media was used to influence an entire country into killing millions of Jewish people. The US government countered that media with its own messages, then after the war sold the power off to mega corporations who have created a greedy, money wasting "I need that" society, in the US... all through TV and Radio.
