If so, no wonder I never got it... took me forever for the one with 4 dots but somehow got the one on oni island in one shot lols.

May I suggest that you also record battles against some of the more elite monsters because most of those elites require a specific niche to be defeated.

how can you beat blockhead grande without using marker on the tv ive tried it and it doesnt work any soloutions?

Record your TV screen, play it back and copy? Get a friend / family member to memorize the first half and you memorize the second? Just making sure: you drew the dots in order, right?
