Man, what a find! The guy who tossed it in the dump was brain-dead. At least it has an owner now who can appreciate it. Don't lose that Columbus tubing decal!

My friend gave me an aluminun 1974 Motobecane that was in his backyard for 20+ years. A new deraileur, chain and shifter cables and it rides beautifully! Seat, handlebars and paint are still perfect. Great finds are still out there...I ride A1A in Fort Lauderdale every night.

@ToberMcGee i go to the dump on occassion, and im amazed at what people will throw out! I have a friend who just goes around on trash day and picks thru peoples trash! he had a yard sale with it once, and made 600 bucks!!

I looked into that question after I found it. I would never sell it, but I wanted to know it's general worth.
Around $500, give or take.
If you ride it though, it becomes priceless :)

Ones shop is a vary personal area. Some people are vary organized. I am not.
One can tell by looking at it that it is well used. I am sure you can say the same of yours.

Great find man! I found and old Giant Cadex at a dump With shimano 105 parts that was probaly my best find.I own A Pinarello ft1 tri bike its wicked.
