@MsFranny7 Thank you for your comment. I agree that planned/elective cesareans have associated risks, but would point out that planned vaginal births have associated risks too. I disagree with you that elective cesareans are directly linked with the U.S. neonatal mortality rate - or that they violate the hippocratic oath.

Elective c-sections are dangerous, which is why there is such a high neonatal mortality rate in the U.S. They violate the hippocratic oath!
