Rosco (or Roscoe) Gordon made several records during the fifties, mainly for RPM, Duke and Sun. 'Love For You Baby' was issued in 1956 on both Sun and its subsidiary Flip. Some of Gordon's recordings, particularly 'New Orleans Wimmen', were to exercise a significant influence on the emergence of ska music in Jamaica.
