Mattias Nilsson - Förklädd Gud aria (5th mvmt)

Mattias Nilsson sings the barytone aria in Förklädd Gud (Disguised God) by L-E Larsson. Unfortunately, the (unattended) camera merely catches glimpses of Nilsson. Also, the limiter distorts the sound a bit.
Recorded 28 Jan 2007, on the 50th anniversary of St Botvid's Church in Oxelösund, Sweden.

Ingen bra början av kören på "Kring höstlig vaktelds.." och var håller herrarna hus i samma del?!

Det är väldigt svårt att bedöma körens insats från den här inspelningen, eftersom kamerans limiter slår till. Det gör att ljudbilden börjar svaja betänkligt speciellt i de starka partierna där kören kommer in. Det finns en annan inspelning, där denna effekt inte uppstår, och där later kören klart bättre.

Ni som kritiserar kören, tänk på att det budskapet i dikten som ska fram. Och det tycker jag det gör , med besked! En njutning för själen är det, en Gud i förklädnad!

In fact if we think that they are armatures even the conductor is not a pro maestro we can say it is really wonderful.

Yes I sang this music, in autumn last year.

It was in Constance, Germany. It was great, I think our orchestra was perhaps a little bit better than this one here, but I don't want to say, that this one here would be bad.

I played this music several times one of them I was sitting as concertmaster and even once I made the audio for the orchestra (means I wrote it from the maestro score and changed it to be audio file) to help one of my friends how conducted this work (without the singing parts); just the Orchestra.

And as I wrote before L-E Larsson is my favorite composer.

Did you play this music??

Just ten days ago we performed this music twice with one of the most famous conductors in Sweden, to be honest it was also little bit fast and I didn't say it is not great, it is really great.
