  • Nice video but I think you made a mistake when you said that "Irving Fire Medic 2 has arrived." I think you mean "is en route". Maybe I misunderstood that. Doesn't matter though, good video.

Another thing, if you are interested in the Fire Service, check out your local fire department (Irving I take it?). If it's a dream of yours, don't let it die. Go for it! Don't think that you can't do it. Never give up on a dream as I always say!

  • @boston18967345 Hi there. Thanks for the comment. I was trying to say "Medic 2 has a run", but it wasn't very clear. I love following the fire service as a fan, but I'm probably too old to go into it as a profession as I'm almost 48 years old.

  • Didn't I hear them also dispatch a engine from the same station also to the call? Only the ambulance left unless the engine pulled out after you had quit filming

  • @arohn2007 Hi and thanks for the question. Medic 2 was dispatched along w/ Engine 5. Engine 5 responded from its own station in southwest Irving. Engine 5 was closer to the address than Medic 2 was. Medic 2 was responding in place of Medic 5, which was on another run. You can hear Medic 5 clearing (becoming available) from Baylor Irving Hospital at the very end of this video.

  • niceeeeee vid

  • @christianpolice Thanks! I'm glad you liked it.

  • @ColinFWheeler if they are volunteer. they'll take anyone! always a job you can do

  • nice ambo

  • @ColinFWheeler No problem. I don't know how things work in Irving but some places have age limits only for civil service departments. As for non-civil service, if you can pass the physical, you should be set. My advice: call up your local fire department and ask what their membership requirements are. What do you have to lose, right?

  • Is that box made by Frasier?

  • it was 20 seconds to respond nice response time
