Over 370 tubas and euphoniums performing "Komm, Susser Tod" immediately followed by "Silent Night" on December 4th, 2009. The event was held at the Lyric Theatre and was generously hosted by the Kansas City Symphony. This year's event had about five times the number of participants of last year's event, and may end up being one of the largest Tuba Christmas events in the country!

The event hosted by the KC Symphony's Executive Director Frank Byrne (who also served as MC for the event) and the symphony's education manager Steven Murray. The performance was conducted by the talented Scott Watson from KU.

This was recorded from the balcony because there were so many performers that they took up the whole floor of the auditorium!
