Quantaray Digital- Shutter Release Cable Review [HD]

During this video I show you the Quantaray Digital Shutter Release Cable for the Nikon D300. This remote cable was $25.00 at Ritz Camera. The only problem that I see with this remote is that sometimes the Button is sticky. The reason for this is that the Shutter Release pushes up the lock switch every time you fully press it.

hello does anybody know if they make a shutter release cable for the nikon d60?

@fadeddreemz No they do not. You can only start using a shutter release cable for the D90 and the series that follows after the D90.

@AllAmericanGuy01 Unless you buy an IR Shutter Release, which would work for the D60.

@chargerfun34 That would work, but it isn't cable. He asked if they made a CABLE release for the D60, in which they do not. Besides the IR Shutter Release not only looks cheap, but is cheaply made and it isn't practical when it comes to using it.

@fadeddreemz Well, no that wouldn't be the case because the D300 has a built-in dedicated remote port. Which when a remote is plugged in here. The D300 automatically recognizes it.

@nanong84 hey i think you need to go into your settings and select the icon that looks like a remote im not sure tho
