I think the slow beginning was great. The tune (with its wonderful title ) makes more sense this way. There's sadness at the start, and then spirits rise.

@flyinfiddler I'm trying to understand how one gets the 'bounce' with these tunes, I have been catching it in little bits then losing it and it sounds like monotonous notes and not a tune agian, any tips in that regard? thanks. just noticed that comment is old lol but maybe your still around to coment?

Five Stars !! Wow, very impressive and thank you for sharing that. Notice you are playing at the tip of the bow. My bad habits tending to choke up on the bow too much. Nice style overall.

Don't give up is the best thing I can say. It's a fun tune to play. Play it slow and mess around with it by giving it some bounce. Let me know how it goes.
