Well, he's got me convinced. Public polls? That's all I need to know. (blah!) Oh, he said it would raise taxes for the majority of Americans. Since when was the upper 5% considered the vast majority of Americans? Those are people who make over a quarter of a million dollars a year. The other 95% have already received a TAX CUT and will not be paying for bank bailouts, auto bailouts, stimulus, or healthcare. So sorry Mitch if you make over $250k. Hey, freedom's not free, right?

It's called right and wrong, and you might try it once in a while. Socialism wrong, Constitutionism and captialism right. Worked great until everyone wanted to collectivize stuff. Now we're fubar-ed.
Keep thinking you have the real picture. It looks better than what you normally do...looking down at your own feet and shuffling...

Yeah, those big banks are infested with unions. And I see that Hank Paulson's alma mater Goldman-Sachs is ONLY looking out for democrats.
Keeping thinking seeing the world in a red/blue, left/right mentality. That'll get you far in life, dork.

It's not ignorance. It's experience based on the fact I DIDN'T take their prescription for my symptomology, and AM STILL ALIVE BECAUSE OF IT, whereas the rest of my unit who followed the VA's regimen are DEAD. Take your own bloody advice, you pompous windbag.
And the only companies to get bailed out were ones either infested with unions, or companies the demonrats had a stake in. NON of the repubs' businesses got that. Nice try, but it IS the left who got us here, not the right.

It's mine? How so? I agree with everything you said about Bush, but still, it was Bush's idea to socialize the risk of the banksters.
I believe the financial threats were contrived. It's not that difficult to set things in motion and watch the sheep run for the doors, as they did. How did tossing $700 billion to the banks save us from certain doom? How? Buy paying off foreign banks? I'm still waiting on proof that not giving the banksters the money would have spelled doom.

utter ignorance indeed, but this time its yours. The Bush admin bottomed out the economy, touted a low jobless rate as joblessness rose sky high, thrust us into war with the country that did not attack us and left the country in a total shambles. You didnt want to bail out the corporations that totally sustain our economy? Sure, let's do it your way: we'll have nothing and have to learn to speak chinese --but then, thats what republicans want, eh?

No, private companies that are over budget get BAILED OUT by so-call "conservative" republicans and otherwise liberal democrats.
The VA is the highest rated health insurance model in the country. Don't let your own ignorance guide your reality. Take the advice I gave the other loud-mouth and go read up on the issues.
Your last comment doesn't dignify a response. It's exposes your utter ignorance on the issue.

You can believe whatever the hell you like. I don't give a dam. In case you haven't heard, MOST of us veterans are AGAINST these wars.
I did my duty, and some of it included duty overseas. Did you serve, or are you another chicken-hawk like Dick Cheney who creams his shorts every time he sees George W. wearing a cowboy hat?

No, private companies that are over budget GO OUT OF BUSINESS. Only government entities get to force someone else to pay higher prices and are continually over budget.
And the only people I ever hear raving about the VA medical care are the ones who get psycho drugs, NOT the folks who were actually wounded. The care is NOT that great, any more than at an Army Medical Facility on post.
And private healthcare IS perfect, in that you get what you pay for. Not something available otherwise.

I hate it that Kentucky is represented by this garbage.
