@mrlouisman Why didn't youn just use the monitor in the background? I will bet that it's much better than the laptop screen was..

@mrlouisman Sometimes when I play games the laptop screen starts to flicker like it's rendering the picture. I don't know if this happens every time, I haven't really thought about it. Maybe you know what it is?

in germany u cant buy this laptop, just the special "x5mSN" without esata or full hd, and the n53sn version with 6gb ram and 500gb hdd.

Ik ben op het Velperplein in Arnhem wezen kijken, daar hadden ze er slechts 1. Maar volgens het systeem van hun zijn er ca. 180 stuks in Nederland ( ik ga hem waarschijnlijk over 1 week kopen, anders is hij op), maar kijk ook eens op de site van paradigit, daar staat hij onder deze noemer: Asus 15.6" N53SV-S1831V - i5 2430/6GB/640GB

@TheBergwerk Echt waar? Ik was laatst nog in Paradigit op Ceintuurbaan (Amsterdam) heb het niet gezien. Ik bel wel met de hoofdkantoor of zo. Weet jij van een filiaal die het zeker op voorraad heeft?

im thinking about either buying this laptop for $1k usd or the acer 5755g for $700 usd.. the difference is the acer has i5 and asus has i7.. acer has no bluray/bluetooth, both have same graphics chip. u think its worth paying $300 more and go for the asus anyway?

@FrYLocK41 I was planning to do 3d rendering on the laptop which is why I went for the i7 for more cpu threads, I'd probably be fine with an i5 if not. I'd say the Asus is a great laptop but for me the screen let it down, even though it was pin sharp at full HD the viewing angle, colour accuracy wasn't as good as my old dell studio 1557 so I sold it on.
