Jule Styne wrote the music and Bob Merrill the lyrics for the Broadway production of "Funny Girl" based on the life of actress/comedienne Fanny Brice. This musical set in motion the career of Barbra Streisand as she sings here the title song to the 1968 film adaptation of this outstanding Broadway show.
