  • WOW!!! the cherry blossoms are sooooooo beautiful and thats one reason i want to go to japan so badly!!

  • I hope you can come some day. And there's nothing like the magic of the cherry blossoms, which only last a couple weeks or so. In Japan both the school year and fiscal year start on April 1st, so the cherry blossoms are a symbolic of a new beginning and remind us of the fragility of the human existence.

  • That is so beautiful.

Out of interest, what do you teach over there in Japan. I would hazard a guess at English, but I don't want to be presumptuous.

  • Bingo. But my background is in transportation engineering (2 degrees in civil engineering).

  • itakimasu!!

  • wow.. Its so pretty..!! I want to go Japan !! I love their cherry blossoms, snow and summer !!

  • How do people not breathe in the petals saturating the air? It seems like you could suffocate in one of those petal "blizzards". It is nice to look at though.
