Uhm, how is it not True? The term Cold Blooded is an informal one used for Ectothermal Animals. By definition, they do not generate their own Body Heat and are reliant upon outside Heat Sources. The benefit to this is they require far less food as they have relatively few metabolic demands, the down side is that their body temrpeture, and thus functionality, is determined by an external factor they have little o no control over.
