  • The nuts are just to hold the washers on when a camera is not mounted.

  • Looks very nice, I've had too much trouble myself trying to put one of these together and have been much more satisfied with the Cam Caddie SCorpion i purchased for $38 last year. Very affordable and effective camera stabilizer I highly recommend one.
