  • I like watching accipiters doing their thing and smokin' on ducks, pheasant and rabbits but the music's gotta go! All in all though, good footage. I've been hawking for a good many years so I know the exhilaration first hand of watching a bird motor up on something, closing the gap and then putting the snatch on it. I noticed this video was posted in '07. Are you still hawking and where are you located? At any rate, good vid.

  • Hi Aaron, you have done a realy good work with your gos ,thats falconry we like congratulations!

  • @twitchy well, youve got a point, there are stories of birds being blown out of control into power lines etc, but generally, theyre gonna be ok, i used to fly falcons on a land fill site as part of a pest control program to keep ths seagulls away, there were wagons coming and going all day long and in 6 months i didnt have so much as a near miss, plus it was right on the coast so we had some very windy days.

  • @CrustyLoveLips Well I mean I don't expect it to fly into a building, lol, I just worry something industrial might get in the way of the chase. :c I guess I would personally take mine out into the fields away from people and buildings. ><

  • decent attempt. but not sure we needed to see the Gos fail 3 times at the start ;p also, could the music be any more unsuitable? haaaaaaaaaaa

  • @twitchy if a hawk cant maneouvere out the way of a building its blind, how do you think it would fly between trees in the wild ? silly :p

  • I don't know much about hawking but shouldn't you get farther away from buildings and such? Not trying to be rude but it feels a little irresponsible, I'm only thinking of the hawk and its safety. c:

  • what tipe of hawk is that?
