I always lose count, too.. doesn't help

@swtlinhha I found that it helps to place a stitch marker in the top of the chain 3, then you will know exactly where to slip stitch at the end of each row. Also, every hat that is joined in the round will have a slight seam. Some are more noticeable than others.

I came across this video earlier this week and have made three beanies. I have a question though. All of my beanies have a seem where I connect the rows but I don't see that seem in your tutorial. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks so much.

Fab tutorial, thanks so much. You made a seemingly complex pattern easy!
I must be slow...I have to start again, sigh. I have an F hook, don't know the measurements nor ply of my yarn...using f, will it come out smaller?

is there a video on how to make a basic crown for a baby?

@snoopylaydee When making a beanie/hat you need to keep increasing until the circumference/outside edge measurement is1 inch smaller than the head that you are making it for (making a bit smaller allows for stretch) So for example if the head measurement is 21 inches you need to increase until the circumference/outside edge measurement is 20 inches. When you have the desired measurement you STOP increasing and continue on with 1 stitch in each stitch
