CCTV spy car hunt by NoToMob: 22 September 2010

Public-spirited NoToMob members volunteer their services to enhance the deterrent effect of Westminster's spy cars to assist in meeting the statutory aim of "100% compliance with no penalties" on a regular basis. A very large percentage of the £80m profit..erh, sorry "excess revenue" that WCC makes is from fines. As they are not doing a very good of meeting the statutory aim of "no penalties", we felt we should help. In fact, it is your civic duty to assist these CCTV cars in their aim of being a deterrent! Please feel free to draw attention to them when ever you see them. Hypocritically, they are usually to be found parked on a double yellow line.

If every time these CCTV cars make a run for it back to base each time citizens help point out where they are, it will be more and more difficult for Westminster and other Councils to justify their use.
