Who cares who's better? Both guys are insane drummers. They both come from different sides of music. Joey is an amazing metal drummer while travis is equally as good in his own style. Both influence a great amount in music. Put them head to head and they would make for an epic show and noone would care who's better. Why diss? Just appreciate great music. If you dont like em, that's fine. Without individualism music would be the same monotistical (no clue if thats a word, just felt right) crap.

@Tom6093 Far more diversity. You may say other blink musicians are not as good as slipknots and yes your right. They still produce far more listenable music. Jordison couldnt write a drum track without double bass. Whereas TB has created numerous beats, licks, fills variety with a 4 set kit. While JJ has all them toms and hes still not as good. Youve got to be a coffin dodger or one miserable fucker to listen to them...

@Tom6093 Do you know anything about music. Everyone hears about double bass drummers and says theyre the best because of their speed regardless of what genre of music they play. So for Travis to be compared with these drummers says enough about him. Plus he has made it in the hip hop scene too by covering some well known songs. His acomplishments as a drummer far outweigh JJ. Why do you think Blink have been far more successful over the years compared to Shitknot? Far more albums....

@Tom6093 I wasnt fucking talking to you but since you butted in. How is playing double bass 4s or 8s in every song, complex or playing with variety? Travis could easily play Metal he has played the double pedal before but its not right for his genre. No blink 182 songs are the same in drumming terms. His variety is on another scale to Jordison. Joey only plays licks with his double bass. It is not as skillful as what Travis does. Hiphop?? Since when was Blink, +44 or Box car racer hip hop?

In my opinion, travis owns him, and i love both.

But as a fellow drummer, travis does a lot of awesome Beats and rythm, whene joey focuses on The speed of the hits.

My opinion though.

@s8tank All I heard was beats with Travis. He doesn't impress me. Joey owned him completely with skill , complexity , and techniqe. Joey knows how to put a solo together. He is way more skilled then the hip hop, all show Barker. You ask him to play metal or progressive rock and he'd fail. I betcha Joey was influenced by Rush, classic Rock, Keith Moon, Portnoy . I hear alot of that influience in his style.

@HartzyBoi650 Perfect comment mate. Non drummers would hear the speed and instantly assume hes better. Barkers got far more variety in his songs. Different tempos wheraes all I head when I have to listen to Shitknot is the same tempo double bass.
