  • seems like you didnt research the original film. the milton character isnt convincing. the original script has been cut to bits. the flow is missing. its cool that it was shot in one take though it doesnt redeem the rest. nice try chaps.

  • thanks man, its just an assignment to block and shoot an existing script in one take... not even a try... its an obligation. Of course for dramatic beat, it shouldnt be shot this way.

  • oh how i pity the youth of today you guys actually think this is good??? get off the meth and pot and watch it again, acting sucks although the camera work is ok

  • chill out, its just an exercise. yes ... a school exercise which we could care much less, you 39 year old film expert.

  • hes no pacino but...

great remake though. i love this movie. maybe get a steady cam...?

  • haha.. steady cam is too expensive for the sake of a class exercise

  • if this is a Columbia University film exercise, then I must be God.

  • I appreciate that you're just a couple of young actors, learning your trade, so I would say that you aimed too high by trying to do this scene. You could maybe get try outs for Sunset Beach or similar, but to try mimicking Pacino on his best day? The acting is maybe not necessarily that bad, but to stand next to him makes it look...well.... fucking awful.

  • I liked it, at least. Acting wasn't -that- bad for amateurs, you guys are trying to hold them to professional standards which is unrealistic. Doubt you could do better. Very cool that you were able to carry out that entire scene in one take.

  • Why does NO ONE seem to understand, the purpose of this video is not the ACTING. It's the cinematography.

Film makers do not need to act. Ask Robert Rodriguez, or Tarrantino, or Gus Van Sant, or Darren Arronofsky, or hell, anyone really....

The acting is allowed to suck, because the acting wasn't the fucking point.

From the description: "this is a Columbia University **Film exercise**. Students are to choose a section of a published screenplay and shoot it in a single take."

    Film. Not Acting

  • hahahahahaha, excellent the final.

  • Everybody needs to go back and watch the movies that you've seen. If you hadn't seen the devil's advocated then you need to. That shit is creepy. These people are powerful they don't care if they show us who they really are. They do it in plain sight but we never take the hints. its not just hand signs but is also what they say. They can't hide hid who or what they are. These people are demons, slaves to satan and they don't give a damn about the people. The world runs on greed

  • playing as the devil, having a scene sitting him down while his son points a gun at him while standing should not be done. this is the scene revealing him as the devil himself. , he should be the one in power.

  • Why's harry potter in Devils Advocate?

  • this sucks bigtime,shithole actors
