@XSGAME4U I was reading your post, and I have to correct you on one of your facts. The Whispers are all from Watts, CA, which is Southern California. They may have performed in Oakland, but they are not from there. You can google their bios, and you will see that they are in fact from Southern California, not Northern Cali. I am a die-hard fan from way back, and I've seen them in concert about five times. They are well worth the money many times over.

I'm born and raised in Oakland, where the Whispers are from, and I remember my older brother coming home with this 45 back in the day and telling me that some guys he went to school with (The Whispers themselves) gave it to him, and if I'm not mistaken the flip side was "Needle in a Haystack," Man! I was blown away.
The Whispers are definitely a singing group for the ages. Whom I was fortunate enough to be able to catch from their very beginnings.
