One thing I noticed about the audience was how much it resembles todays heavy rock audiences. Bak then we were a wild and crazee bunch but most seem spoiled to bits now. They usually just stand around with long faces like someone has dumped in their pants waiting till the encore to jump around just in case some one may laugh at em.I remember going to see SLADE way bak and you were damned lucky if you had the money for a t shirt. The Us at that time were as spoiled for choice as we all are today.
This is top stuff, Slade live were and are awesome; classic top stuff, jimmy lee, bass guitar, then Don on the drums. Awesome.................Brilliant
Hecklers f*cked their performance, got to Holder, he ain't on the money, he's chasing the song. A shame but nice footage anyway, hand coloured by you Dave?
Only saw Slade 3 times in the 80's (and once I can only just remember at Donington) This video is superb. What a great version, the power is immense. The song can be done in so many different ways but this version by Slade really does the business. Love em to bits. Thanks for the post
