I now realise why so many people in the Deep South love the Dead's music so much, including the Allman Brothers Band. It's because the music strikes a chord with them, due in large part to Jerry's banjo playing background and laid back style of music.

i was there, at this show, still have the ticket stub. been to plenty of shows and the radio city sets were the best. guess i'm old enough & lucky enough to have been in the right place at the right time. thanks for posting.
