This paracordist creation is the B.S.B. (Best Survival Bracelet); "others are just B.S."

This video shows the creation of fire with nothing else but this bracelet and natural materials; no tools, no knife.

  • Kevin, That jute went up like a puddle of gas... what if you are wearing it around a campfire, and get an ember or two on it... Does it being tied in prevent this?

  • @banata21 needs oxygen, fluffing to go up. won't burn on the wrist.

  • Thumbs up for the kid doing the camera work; better than a lot of adults I've seen.

Oh yeah, great bracelet too. :)

I think the wax idea is good because it would help in wet conditions I think.

  • Nice bracelet, awesome parenting = thumbs up video.

  • 13 people tried making a fire and failed

  • Hey dud e that stuture behind you that thing some people call a house. I bet there is a match or lighter there. Save about an hour go get a match light a real fire. Work smarter not harder

  • wow, am i so glad , you got that fire going , those rug rats are very forward and demanding..they would have had you done up in seconds..

thanks for the vid. hope you had enough smore's...I hate too see, what would they would, have done it there wasn't enough to go around.

  • were did you get the sparking rod?

  • Excellent vid, Sir. You really seem like a genuine man and a great Father. Thanks for setting such a great example for your kids to follow, we need more like you. Having said that, I DO have one question. What material is the striker made of? I have a bunch of different fire steel rods and "Kits". The :Kits" came with a striker, but the rods came with nothing at all. I've tried different kinds of metals to use as a striker, but I'm getting varying results in the amount of sparks I get. Advice?

  • great video ty, and great camrawork, lol, im going to try making one of these but as a belt, if you have any advice it is welcome.

  • "So I don't get killed... by these children."

Seems to me that they might be demons, are you sure your wife wasn't knocked up by the devil?

  • This would be useful and awesome even without the jute! I like the jute mainly because it adds colour and personality to the bracelet! Jute will make the first fire (often the hardest anyways) a lot easier, but the sparks are just as good on a normal feather stick or other types of kindling on the next fires.

  • Man this is soooo cool...you should sell this stuff

  • Excellent idea to hide the kit in the wristbands , I keep a kit in my bag , but should worst, worst case scenario happen and you lost that, this would be a life saver , I'm definately adding this, ..... P.s. You would've got those s'mores done in record time if you cooked them in a "dakota(aka apache) fire hole"
