Incubus

Insomnia and paranoia are tearing Ilona's world apart. The confines of her apartment are closing in and an otherworldly presence pervades her every waking thought. As the apparent haunting of her flat bears down on her, allusions to something much darker begin to take root inside her mind.

Shot on location in a former Victorian hospital in Manchester, England, the film has an edgy feel and grainy look. The style transcends language barriers and is boosted further by an entirely original and haunting score. Drawing inspiration from the extreme Asia horror genre but with a blended subtlety more suitable to a much wider audience, it isn't easy to forget.
