This is a video that I made with the Monkees song "She". I put clips in it from the following episodes;"I've Got A Little Song Here";"Monkees A La Carte"; & "Monkees In A Ghost Town". I hope you enjoy it, I put alot of hard work into it. **Note: It starts with a lick and end's with a lick... see if you can catch it. I didnt notice it until it was finished. LOL.**

Like RnB groups of the time, they did little more than sing, but then the standards are different.
Later 'manufacutred' groups like Menudo, never got the harsh criticism.
They deserve induction to the RnR hall of fame!

The Monkees were great actors. I used to watch them when I was as a kid. But the music is just a fake. Peter Tork could not play any instrument at all.

There music was real. Every band has studio musicians at one time or another. They never had anyone sing for them, it was all their own vocals, and they played their own instruments. In the beginning they were under the musical control of a butt-hole who wouldnt allow them to play their own instruments, so when they finally managed to get rid of him they did what they wanted from then on. If The Monkees are fakes, then so are about a half of a billion other famous bands.
