In May 2012, The Nate Berkus Show ended its two-year run. Still, before the show even premiered, Oprah says she tried to discourage Nate from hosting a daily talk show. Watch to find out why Nate says that busy schedule caused him to lose sight of what was important to him.

    Why do people make excuses when their ambitions fail? Iyanla was the same way, had a lot of excuses for why her show failed. Truth is, if this show had been a huge success for Nate he would've said, oh it's because I lost myself in the hard work; I was that dedicated.
