and another thing theres no such thing as war paint, its a blessing you can get it even if you go to travel, you can get it before a deathly surgery, so stop speaaking and listen . no offense to anyone just hate it when tribes fight other tribes, WE ARE BROTHERS WE ARE THE SAME, IN EVERY WAY! orally we might not be but are stories are belifs are very the same

so dont speak about war if you never have been in one, war in its basic form is the survival of ones way of life, thats why we started fighting when the whites came, to perserve our different ways of life. that is the truth. so how dare you speak so boldly about who you are, when you only believe in what is written down, oral history goes back to the beginning, so listen to ur elders when they speak and stop listening to a person who came from caves

natives sint start fighting till whites came, otherwise how did we manage trade, how did we get the rock for an arrow? that rock comes from way down south. we didnt fight we had no foes or ancient enemies. what you think is wrong we are peacefull, we did not believe in warfare, we might be good at it but like the need to hunt for survival we needed to know war, im blackfoot, the old ones as you might know us. but i didlike it when tribes say you are my enemy when we are brothers....

Marlon was just coming into his own when he passed away. He had many of his poems published in a Tucson AZ arts publication called Red Ink and had been featured poet at a number of events in Tucson. Since his passing, some of his work has been accepted into the archives of the Smithsonian Native American Indian Museum. Most of his poems are harrowing pieces on the plight of the Native American on the reservations and hopefully his family will allow his work to be published properly. .
