Long Basketball Shot...opposite free throw line

Granny shot from opposite free throw line! Video is of me from 5 years ago. I practiced a lot of wild basketball shots back then. I was usually about 10-15% from that distance. I think my little hand motion follow-through was what guided the ball in :)

No, I would be ashamed of myself if I faked a video so I could have people on Youtube think I'm special. It's just a demonstration that with practice you can hurl a granny shot from the opposite free throw line and make it. Pretty simple.

if u upload another vid... i also suggest you having sum1 record it so u can see the ball the entire time...because with editing its so ez to dub that.

Thanks DaMannnn20, I was using a digital camera 30 second video, and did the recording on a whim.. I might try it again with someone recording. I've been thinking of doing one with shooting from my knees beyond half court, which is actually easier than it sounds once you discover the proper way to get power behind the ball.

Whiran, I made 3 of those shots in about 30 attempts, this was the best take. Unfortunately the camera angle destroys the depth of field, not showing the real distance.

Again, I will correct those who think this is fake. I understand that the angle is bad, and that someone could probably edit a video like this if they wanted. This was years ago, with a clamshell digital camera set near the ground. I took a series of shots, and made a few, and this is one I made. Believe what you want. With practice it is possible to make these shots quite regularly.
