Please read the DTV site. You are not well informed.
Analog over the air is going away and being replaced with digital over the air.
The antenna is going to be continued to be used. Cable on the other hand, can use analog still, because it is NOT over the air.
This is very well fair, and thanks to the consumers who chose not to use their coupons before expiring, now the transition is delayed.

I have a great idea, I have only 7 channels with the combentional antenna, I USE THE SATELLITE DIRECT TV ANTENA and I get 16 CHANNELS.
BEST QUALITY AND SIGNAL.
REMEMBER IS SATTELITE SIGNAL.

Using a satelite dish on a DTV converter box is NOT satelite signal, and is very risky and dangerous. The voltage levels are going to be far different and can risk burning out the ATSC tuner in the DTV box.
Get a propper UHF antenna!
