I believe the Official Charge for his arrest was.....
Assaulting the abstract image of a former President by assault on a fixed structure by an inanimate object resembling a shoe (which has been previously shown to be the terrorist's weapon of choice when close to Bush).
This "shoe-like weapon" reveals the suspect to be a person of interest and therefore subject to arrest via the draconian machinations of our emerging fascist government police state.

I hope the cops understand that they are accomplices of crime against humanity too, the German soldiers that claimed they where following orders were hanged as well. Just saying. We haven't brought our kids to earth to see them live in a dictatorship, at least I didn't.

my uncle pete got arrested for tossing off into an old flip flop......he also was found pumping one out into a beef and tomato pot noodle....
