@007Darwin Our concern w/ copywritten material is the legality of its use according to YouTube's requirements. Our Official Rules do state that use of copywritten material "may" disqualify an Entrant, but this is mainly in an effort to warn contestants of YouTube's policies. While we may allow an entry that has some copywritten material, YouTube could deem a video to be against their policies and remove it. If that were to occur we would no longer be able to include it in our contest.

Valid point. That is why everyone will be judged equally. While ratings and comments can influence the judges, they won't necessarily determine the winners.

Great questions.  We will consider each video equally, but comments on your video that might point out unique qualities to the video could always help you. Also, by having a higher rating it could help you get more views and ratings. There could be advantages from waiting and advantages by submitting early. By waiting it will give you a chance to view what others are doing first, but by submitting early you will get more views and ratings. It's a choice I suppose.

Great question.  A majority of our communities are in the Indianapolis area, but we do have one community in Bloomington, IN and Dayton, OH. We have included those in the contest as well, but list most of the videos as Indianapolis Apartments in case people are trying to search for our videos. It's mainly to help people searching for the videos. I apologize if it's misleading.

I mean no disrespect to anyone entering the contest. What I have seen is.. the uses of  alot of copyrighted music. Before I put a video up. I would like to ask if that is acceptable? Thank you

I do have another question/comment. I've noticed some of the comments that aren't, "the best" to some of the videos, have been deleted. Keep that in mind when you are judging certain videos that have 99% complimentary comments, that is because the negative ones were deleted. This is partially what I was talking about when saying this can be unfair. Thank you for graciously answering all of my questions and concerns.

It seems as though you've encouraged residents to comment and rate videos. What about the people who are carefully planning out and may not get it submitted until maybe days before the cut off date? If someone else has 100 comments but my video only gets 20. How heavily will that affect the outcome? I think it is somewhat unfair. I'm uncomfortable with knowing I might not have a fair chance because I may have less comments. It won't mean I didn't work as hard or doesn't mean I want it less.

Why does everything say INDIANAPOLIS APARTMENTS Free Rent For a Year but you let someone from Ohio submit an entry? This is misleading.
