the window has no frame? wtf? that is so out dated... it was present mostly in the 80s and even then, in the lower spectrum of the market. Anyways, love vintage design and huge cars!

@75birddawg - no, 1995 was the last year for the 929. You cant even get a true luxury Mazda sedan for 2012. Sad really.

The early Ford Windstars didnt have glove boxes either due to the passenger airbags. While some cars in the early 90s that had passenger side airbags had a glove box, many didnt. I suppose it was where it was "new" to many cars then and they really didnt know how to incorporate it. The early 90s Town Cars and Fleetwoods had passenger bags, but still had a glove box.

Kyle I'm a huge fan of your channel. I recently purchased one of these with 225,000 miles on it, and its in nearly mint condition. So I go on Youtube to see if by chance SaabKyle has one of these.. and sure enough, I find it under your Mazda playlist! Great job
in some ways the 929 resembles a cross between a First Generation Infiniti Q45 and Lexus LS 400....the general shape of the car reminds me of an LS,just abit more rounded, the rear pillars definetly look similar to the Lexus, the Driver oriented dash looks like the wraparound dash in the First Gen Q45 Sort of.
overall it looks like a very capable luxury car, maybe one day mazda will introduce the Amati Brand.

This thing looks reallllly good for a 93. I wish Mazda still made a luxury car.
