Final Fantasy X - How to get Anima

70,000+ views! Woah! Thank you everyone! This video shows how to get the extra aeon, Anima. Anima in my oppinion, is the best Aeon in the game, it comes with all the elemental attacks, as well as Death and Bio. It also handily comes with break damage limit, which let's it's attacks exceed 9999. It's special attack is Pain, which sometimes can instantly kill an enemy.

Anima's overdrive move is Oblivion, which drags all enemies into a dark world and constantly deals damage, then throws them back out.

How to get:

The main way to get Anima is to find the secret items in all 6 of the Cloister of Trials. To get these hidden items, you need to use the destruction spheres in certain places to find the chest which contains the item.

Once you have obtained all 6 items. You need to search for Baaj Temple using the NavMap on the airship. (Meaning you need to get upto atleast beating Lady Yunalesca in Zanerkand) Once you find Baaj Temple, you can then go there using the airship. Once you get there you will see it is the place you found yourself at the begining of the game. You'll need to jump into the water and fight the Cage Fish you fought earlier. (You will only be able to use Tidus, Wakka and Rikku) Once you have defeated the guardian, you can swim into the temple itself and go get Anima.

Co-ordinates for Baaj: X=11~16 Y=60~65

Once you enter the interior, you will see 6 statues in the room, 3 on the left and 3 on the right. See the below map for info on which statue stands for which Temple treasure.

Note: The top right statue (Bevelle) does not need the secret item seeing as you need it to get through that trial anyway. And you cannot return to Bevelle, so the game counts it wether you get the actual item or not. If a statue does not light up, you will need to go back to that trial and go through to find the treasure. It might be hard to go back though as you need to go and beat Dark Valefor to get to Besaid, and Dark Shiva to get to Maccalania Temple. (Which are both almost impossible to beat without max stats)

Once all 6 statues are lit up, you can go into the next room to pick up Anima. A short cutscene will play where you will see Seymour's mother telling you about his past. Then you will have Anima, the powerful Aeon. Well Done :D

in bevelle there are two treasures ..

one of them a sphere and the other on is a weapon for Kimhari I think ..

I got the sphere but didn't got the weapon ..

DO I HAVE TO START A NEW GAME IF I WANT TI GET ANIMA ?

So I got all 6 destruction spheres from the temples and zanarkand and now one statue wontlight up. The front left one (yellow). Help?

@TheMaliciousStorm as far as i know, no one's beaten the game nsg mode yet. i'm thinking about just spending shit tons of time making gil and just zanmato all the final bosses lol
