Bill Maher hopes Obama is lying about being Christian

Mr. Aetheist, Bill Maher, is angry about organized religion, apparently. When confronted on Nightline about supporting Obama, he said he hopes Obama is lying about being Christian just to get into the White House, since religious beliefs are a "neurological disorder."

Bill Maher is not an atheist. He's an agnostic.

Not that that's relevant in this case. He does not say anything about atheism or agnosticism in this clip. For all we know, he could believe in some sort of god or diety. Believing in a god and being religious are very different things. The latter not only believes in a god, he even thinks he knows the will of this god. Anyone who makes such a claim is a lying piece of scum and nobody should believe anything he or she says, ever.

Those countries are morally superior to religious nations like any country in the middle east where men can marry kids, rape is accepted, beating women is encouraged, killing people for not believing in you fairytale is accepted.
