  • I just heard about the Fathead Mic :-) Trying to decide between the Fathead and the Audio Technics AT4040 Condenser Mic for recording my Acoustic Martin HD-28. I heard the AT4040 will pick up every little bit of sound, the subtleties of an acoustic guitar for example. What is your opinion?

  • @PocketDrummer rodes are nice the fat head is the best mic for under 200 dollars

  • I am selling a Shure ksm27 on Ebay uk starting cheap

  • Look up the Cascade Fat Head. It's a great little ribbon.

Also look into Rode products. They have a lot of bang for your buck as well.

  • the Mk-012 seem good little microphone

it reminds me of a Behringer B5 condenser microphones
