Irish Examiner sketch

The source material for the Irish Examiner 'Sketch" spot was shot in half a day in Ardmore Studios, it was then edited, tracked and composited with 3D elements to define the stadium, the results were rotoscoped frame by frame in numerous layers with two separate processes, one hand drawn process to deliver the pencil sketch elements and then frame painted with proprietary video painting software to deliver the naturalistic paint effect.
The two styles were then composited onto a paper texture to deliver the central message; that the two contrasting styles of the main journalists, from analytical to passionate, combine to deliver a more complete picture of the Championship.
